Rev. Dr. J. Mary Luti is the senior minister of First Church
in Cambridge, Congregational, UCC. She is also the former associate
dean of Andover Newton Theological School, where she taught in the area
of the history of Christianity. For many years she has also engaged
in a ministry of writing, retreats, educational programs and consultations
with church leaders and laity. Mary is particularly interested in
the retrieval of old forms and practices for contemporary use, with a special
emphasis on the sacraments and the great figures of the Christian heritage,
the saints.
Rev. Dr. Anne Minton
Rev. Anne Mansfield Minton is a retired college teacher and an Episcopal
priest. She taught World History and World Religions for many years, most
recently at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston. Long engaged in interfaith
conversations among Muslims, Christians and Jews, Anne is also a founding
member of the Daughters of Abraham, an interfaith women’s book group http://www.daughtersofabraham.info . Anne
has traveled to Jerusalem three times in the last four years and helped
to organize a Daughters of Abraham journey to Jerusalem in May, 2006. Anne
is very interested in deepening understanding and mutual respect among
Muslims, Christians and Jews and working for peace and justice in Israel/Palestine.
